The Degollada is a small hamlet located in the municipality of Yaiza Fenauso Valley, at the foot of the volcano of La Atalaya
>on the north side and adjacent to Cape Mountain to the east. The military engineer José Ruiz Cermeño in its report of 1772 assigned 7 neighbors and Pedro de Olive in 1860 says it has 86 inhabitants.
