A sculpture tribute to the fighters.
The heraldic shield of the municipality of Tias is in its emblem the figure of two wrestlers struggling. Throughout its history Tias has been the cradle of great fighters, one of them very famous Ulpiano Rodriguez Perez, who gave the town in the 80s of last century fighting the dump.
According to the ancient writings of the Spanish conquerors, the aboriginals played a game,
Fight-based melee, which ended being called Lucha Canaria.
