Caleton BlancoHaría Valley stands out as the greatest demonstration of Lanzarote tree. It abounds extensive palm groves.
But undoubtedly the main protagonists in this part of Lanzarote are Jameos Water and La Cueva de los Verdes.
These two quirks of the volcanic geology have been adapted to the needs of tourism without changing one iota of its natural beauty.
Jameos Water is an amazing volcanic gallery 200 meters long which has a crystalline lake formed by the penetration of sea water in the living individual pieces of blind albino crabs of the abyssal fauna. Here you can enjoy a unique auditorium for concerts and artistic representations of high level (a 12-year restoration).
The Cueva de los Verdes is located in another part of the same volcanic gallery. It is a unique geological cave of great value.
Tourism Concern has been providing it with an impressive light and sound installation, with a spacious concert hall with seating for 400 people.
Pueblo de YeThe volcanic tubes of this set of caves are among the most spectacular and famous in the world, surpassing six kilometers in length, excluding the part that continues under the ma. These tubes have come at length, paddling and exploring the world record in underwater caves.
One of the most spectacular of Haria is the Mirador del Rio, built by Cesar Manrique, the great artist himself. At the north end of the island, the edge of a spectacular cliff, is this viewpoint from which you can see the islands to the north of Lanzarote, La Graciosa, Alegranza, Montaña Clara, and Los Roques.
The Port of Orzola, one population of the municipality is the starting point for excursions to La Graciosa. This relationship has given an important role in its trade with La Graciosa, the only one of the islands that is inhabited.
Belong to the City Council Haria other villages, we list: Mala, Punta Mujeres, Charco del Palo, Tabayesco, Arrieta, Orzola, Ye and Maguez.
