Puddle of Click
Within the municipality of Yaiza mountain rises Gulf. It is a volcanic island surrounded by
products of historical eruptions occurred during the eighteenth century. It is a cone partially dismantled due to the erosive action of the sea, assigned to the third phase of construction on the island.
Timanfaya washes caused the formation of Puddle of Click in the crater of the volcano. Is separated from the sea by a sand bar covered and partially occupies the original crater, yet feeds sea water by groundwater seepage, presenting an attractive natural landscape indudableinterés. The greenish color of the water is due to the abundance of phytoplankton.
 
The name of the place is due to a grocery abundant seafood called "colic" in antiquity, but that died as a result of two turtles that were released in the confined waters of the Gulf.
This lake has been declared a Natural Reserve, being integrated into the same nets the Natural Park of the Volcanoes.
