Beans with Clams
Ingredients for 4 people
200 gr. white beans, 150 gr. onion, 400 gr. clams, 1 bay leaf, 2   cl. Olive oil, 10  gr. garlic, parsley, 1/2 gr. cayenne, thyme, 2 gr. salt
Preparation
Put the beans to soak the night before. Drain and put in a pot covered with cold water and herbs. When it starts to boil, add a dash of cold water to stop the cooking. Simmer for 1 ½ hours or until tender. Salar. Place the clams in a bowl with cold water and salt to clean sand. Make a paste with the garlic and parsley and set aside.
Put oil in a skillet and saute the onion for 10 minutes, until it begins to transparent. Add the paprika, give it a few turns with the wooden spoon and put them into the pot of beans and mash together with the clams. Cook until clams open.
